 In 2008, a book titled Local Dishes and Customs of Podlehnik Municipality was published, the material for which was gathered by the Country Women’s Society of Podlehnik Municipality. The society members meet at various social events, educational activities and cooking courses. They are preserving the culture of the Haloze Region and its traditional dishes, and try to transmit their enthusiasm to others, so that these healthy, tasteful and carefully prepared dishes will not be forgotten. |
